An Instagram Kind of Weekend

April 23, 2012

Keeping up with a blog can be difficult, as you may be able to tell from my infrequent posts.  But it’s a goal of mine to really commit to Flaneur and exercise my writing muscles as much as possible.  So I’ve come up with a few weekly segments that I’ll be coming out with gradually.  I’m really excited and hope you’ll enjoying seeing some more consistent posts from me 🙂

The first segment I’m excited to annouce is “My Instagram’d Weekends.”  I was inspired by a post Mrs. French did on her beautiful blog, Bliss.  I’m constantly taking photographs, especially on the weekends, so I’m looking forward to sharing little snippets of my weekly 48 hours of play time.

This past weekend the weather jumped back into winter-mode, much to everyone’s chagrin.  But the sun did decide to grace us with its presence quite a bit, so we had no choice but to brave the wind and try to soak up some vitamin D.

Spring has finally come to Amsterdam!

Enjoying some delicious brew with friends (and the man friend) at an old church-turned-brewery in Haarlem.

A new and exciting vintage find.

Exploring a forest used for hunting by Napoleon back in the day.

Making friends with nature.

Beautiful Amsterdam.
